I was just introduced to Cory Wallace basses at the Dallas Guitar Show in late April and I'm glad to have found them! I was immediately taken back by the great weight and feel as well as the fine attention to the finish. This bass has what I'd call a mild relic finish and it's really well done.  It's burgundy mist over white and the body is swamp ash. This one has an early 70's style J neck in maple with black block inlays. It's a perfect marriage because a lot of players are looking for P tone but prefer a J neck. It feels and sounds quite similar to basses costing almost twice as much! Each bass features a custom neck plate and this one is signed on the back of the headstock. A well-balanced 8 3/4 lbs, It comes in one of the nicest cases I have seen which is especially fine at this price point. We'll be seeing a lot more from Cory Wallace in the coming year!
